We had a wonderful weekend. I took Friday off and the boys had school off, so we left Thursday night and went up to the cottage for four great days of sun and fun. I did a lot of work around the house, but it was all outside, so it was worth it and when I was tired of working, I could just go jump into the lake. My sister-in-law and nephew came up also, so the 4 boys had a great time running around with their heads cut off. My parents came up on Friday night and it was the first time we have been together up there this year. We introduced them to pie makers, you make them in the fire. They loved them and lots of alcohol was consumed. I was sad to leave there yesterday, I don’t know if I will get back up there again this year. We are hoping to take the boys up during the winter so they can really see what snow is like. We get some at our house, but I remember years that the snow plow made such big piles that we could walk up it and get on the roof.
Other then that I’m back and work and the boys are at school and life hopefully gets back to normal now. Football season is starting this week and I’m really looking forward to winning my fantasy leagues and in another month, I will have my hockey back and I have missed that greatly.
