Serpent

by Clive Cussler, Paul Kemprecos
Going back to the beginning of the Kurt Austin series from Clive Cussler. I couldn’t find this book on CD, so I actually sat down and read it. It was a great introduction to Kurt and actually a pretty good story. Kurt is tracking down the clues that may prove that Columbus wasn’t he first person to come to the Americans. There may have been trade going on with Europe and the Americans long before he got there. They may have also left their treasure in the Americans and that was what Columbus was looking for on his 5th voyage that know one really knew about.

In true Cussler fashion the formula holds true, but it was a great read anyway. I just love these stories. I have just one more in this series to get caught up to the present with it and I was just informed by my mother that she has just bought the latest one in this series, so that puts me two down, but there is light at the end of the tunnel on this one.
