10:30 pm 11/17/05 - I purchase 2 tickets online for the movie and decide that the 8 year old is going with me. I know that the movie was pg-13, but I didn’t think there wasn’t anything he could see and there wasn’t it was as scary as they said it would be. This was my favorite book of the 6 and I was excited to see how they could take the longest book and make it into a movie. I think they did a great job and hit all the high points of the book. For those of you that haven’t read the book yet, I would read it before you see the movie, it will make a lot more sense to you.
Garrett and I arrived home from the movie at 3:00am and I put him back to bed. He was so tough to wake up I didn’t think he would have wanted to go with me, but by the time we got there, he was into the whole thing. There were 8 theaters showing the movie at Midnight and they were all sold out. We got into our theater at 11:15 and were lucky to get seats.
We were going to let Garrett sleep in this morning and go to school late, but he was worried I wouldn’t do his hair right, so he got up and went to school on time with his brothers. I’m surprised that he is still awake now, but he is and he’s just sitting here reading the first HP book as I type and Sean and I watch the 3rd movie I guess we have HP fever right now.
Go see the movie you will love it.

Aww that is sweet...Some nice daddy and son time. I haven't read the books, but you know I am not a book person.
But I can be sure to get the play by play from you ;)
