That Elusive Gift

The wife called me this morning and said would I try and find a present that she couldn’t find in any stores. That meant that I needed to do the online search. I tried all the stores she had been looking at to see if they had anything online and then I tried the site itself and they said that they wouldn’t have any till after the first of the year. So I checked ebay and of course I could find them out there for 3 times the price of what it was in the store and we really didn’t want it that bad. I was telling my buddy here at work about it at lunch and he said that he had seen them last week out at borders. We tried the one down here by work and they didn’t have them, but the store he saw them at had one left and I have put the hold on it and I’m sending my mother to go get it tonight. I’m now #1 on the wife’s list until I do something to screw that up, which shouldn’t be but another 2 hours or so. :)

What is that present that you have been looking all over for and couldn’t find?

This might sound weird but I have a realative that collects Pillsbury Dough Boy things for her kitchen. You know, "Poppin' Fresh"? Well, she's been wanting to make curtains or a tablecloth. I cannot find material ANYWHERE. We're always on the lookout but have had no luck.

A tinker bell costume...not for me, for my 3yr old daughter. She loves dressup.
