Cause of Death

by Patricia Cornwell
Kay Scarpetta is taking a little vacation on the coast in one of her ME's houses as he is out of the country for a funeral of his mother. She is awaken on New Year's Eve by the police to let her know that they have found a drowned person in the old Navy shipyard and what does she want to do with the body. Not knowing if its and accident or a murder, she decides to go out and look at the body herself before having it brought up. Finding out that its a report that she knows, she starts to think it wasn't an accident after all.

This was a good book, I think I have read enough of her books now that they are getting predictable. Her earlier ones were good, but what's she has been doing in the last couple is carrying on about something and then the climax of the books is only about 10 pages long. There is all this lead up and then its done. I guess I just enjoyed the bang I got from her earlier books.
