Where Have The Years Gone?

Last night my middle child wanted me to go pitch to him as we get ready for baseball season. It was a little chilly (somewhere in the 40’s but warmer then it has been) and I threw on my baseball coat from college. I had to laugh when I put it on. I think the wife shrunk it in the wash. When I first got this coat 20 years ago, it was like a tent on me. I used to where a jean jacket under it and it would still almost look like a tent. Now flash forward 20 years to last night and I couldn’t get the thing buttoned without feeling tight. Now I know I have gained a little weight since then, but didn’t think it was that bad, everyone tells me I finally look healthy. I was 136 pounds and 6’ 4” tall back when I got that coat, now I’m 6’ 4” 220. I guess I have grown some. Most would say that my weight and height are in proportion, but by gut begs to differ with that one. I stopped drinking a ton of beer a while ago. But I also haven’t been skating (hockey) for over a year now and that might have something to do with it. Just a thought for the day. Have a great one.
