Hornet's Nest

by Patricia Cornwell
I have enjoyed reading Patricia Cornwell's books and just assumed that this one was the next in a series for Dr. Kay Scarpetta. I was wrong, and that doesn't happen often, yeah right! This was the start of a new series about a police department in Charlotte NC.

The book was ok, I will give this group another read in their next book, but I think there was just too much information in this book and not enough action. She tried to get us all up to speed on the Characters and the story got lost in there there somewhere.
