Teeth

Let’s talk teeth for a bit. When I was 12 I got braces and then had the retainer thing and the head gear and all that fun stuff. So as a parent I was prepared for teeth problems in my children at the ripe old age of 12. Now its the 2000’s and dentists have gaged up to let us parents know that you can’t wait till they are 12, you have to starting doing things now, so that we can screw you again at 12. So my oldest has gone through a couple of months of meeting with the Ortho and he has started with braces on the bottom teeth and an expander on his top teeth to straighten them out and expand his jaw so when the rest of his permanent teeth come in, there will be space and he won’t have to where braces as long. Big f*#(ing whoop, so now you are going to screw me for $5000 so you can turn around and do it again in 4 years. I would just like to do the $5000 once. Thanks.

For all you parents out there that are going through the same thing and you know who you are and I know who you are. I feel your pain. The worse thing to ever happen to dentistry was insurance, because now they just charge what ever they want and know that the insurance will pay for it and then we get socked with more and more charges.
