Tired!

Wow what a week / end. The previous weekend we went up to the cottage and got work for 4 days up there, 3 of which were spent painting out the outside. We came home to my lawn being 6 inches high and no opportunity to mow it. 3 baseball games and two nights of rain kept me away till Thursday night. I started mowing the back at 8:15 and was done with it at 9:30 in the the total dark. See we were celebrating the boys birthday this weekend and I needed to get it done so the moon walk wouldn’t be in the way, which got delivered on Friday night. Thanks to no baseball that night I was able to come home from work and mow the front and weed whip and then get tables and chairs from the neighbors, watch the Pistons and the Tigers win. Hey did I mention we have a baseball team here in Detroit? I don’t know where they have been for the last 20 years or so.

Saturday morning came to brilliant sun and another baseball (t-ball) game for the baby. We got out there and it was beautiful and then there was this little black rain cloud that came in and dump rain on us there and then proceeded to go to my house and hang out for the next 3 hours. Now mind you when we planned to have a birthday party for the 3 boys and they each got to invite 10 friends, we figured we would be doing this outside. It got a little crowed in the garage between showers. But the party went over pretty good other then that. That party went from 1 to 3:30. That gave us a 1/2 hour to change the party over for the family. Why the craziness you ask? Well B1 won a Moon Walk at a hockey game and we thought it would be great for their birthday parties, but we didn’t want to do it twice and with b2 and b3 being one day apart, we decided to move b1 up one month. The family party went off without a hitch to and everyone had fun.

Sunday for the most part we got to finish cleaning up and then we had a first communion party to go to, so at least Sandy didn’t have to cook dinner. I was so tired, I think I was asleep by 9:00pm last night, but I’m still feeling it today.

Hope all is well with you.
