Life Expectancy

Life Expectancy

Wow what an amazing book, nothing like I have read before. This was one of those books I grabbed by just looking at the cover. I don't know what it was about the cover, but as I was walking down the row of books, it just seemed to jump out at me. When I read what the book was about it perk my interest even more and I was hooked.

Now I didn't read it I did listen to it, but it was great non the less. Jimmy Toc is born on a stormy night in August 1974 and during his birth his Grand Father makes a prediction of his name, weight and length and also 5 days that would be terrible in his life. Now his Grand Father was in the ICU at the time with a stroke that left him paralyzed and unable to speak except for the 5 mins that he told his son Rudy (Jimmy's father) about his predictions and as soon as he was done with them he died and Jimmy was born.

If you read any book this year, this is the one that you should get it. I laughed, I cried and was just surprised at how different this one was from any other book I have read.
