Apple’s iTunes to start selling movies - Yahoo! News - Every Tuesday I go out to itunes and see what the new free song of the week is. I have gotten some pretty cool new songs and found some new bands at that. Today when I went out there, all I got is Its Showtime and the site was down for a couple of hours. When it came back up, there was a new version of itunes (which after playing with a couple of hours now is pretty cool) and they have come out with a couple new ipods. An 80gb that costs about $50 more then by 30 did when we got it last Christmas and the heart breaker of all. The $199 2gb Nano we bought for my dad last month is now $149 and the 4gb that was $249 is now that $199 we paid. He could have gotten twice as much music on as he has gotten. I love technology but when I get bite this close to buying something, it really pisses me off. But I got to say I’m really thinking about going after that 80GB and giving the wife my 30.
So with the new version of itunes 7 you can now download movies and they have come out with 9 games for us 5g ipod owners. There is one called Vortex that looks pretty cool but I don’t know if I want to spend the $4.99 to purchase it and then give up 22 mb of music space for it. I never really play the games that are on my ipod now anyway so I will have to think this one through.
