Well after a month of school I have to say that I’m very happy to see what is going on with the boys in their classes. The Kindergarten teacher has said that she can always count on B3 for the answer and he gets it right 90% of the time. Now this is a child that I thought would be a flake in school. B2 got the same remarks from his teacher, but said she feels bad not asking him for the answer, because he always has it and she wants someone else in the class to have it. He’s reading books at the end of a 3rd grade level and I won’t be surprised if its deep into the 4th grade level at the end of the year. He has gotten one wrong on all of the tests that he has taken this year and he is spelling at a 3rd grade level. Not bad for a 2nd grader. Then earlier this week he did something that really surprised me, this shy kid went out and got elected for student council. Which brings me to E (eldest) as I like to call him. He has a teacher that is taller then me and was recruited to play basketball in Australia and was was drafted by the NY Liberty of the WNBA, but chose to come to our school and teach, go figure. She runs the class like a team and this is just what he needs, she doesn’t take any of his shit and he seems to have settled down and started working harder. He decided to play the viola this year and will have his 2nd class in it today, he still seems very excited about it, which is great. His grades are good and he reading books some of the 6th graders are reading.
So I guess I’m very proud of all my children and very thankful they got their mothers educational mind sets, because if they got mine, they would be goofing around all the time.

I REALLY doubt that it's all from her. I always heard the intelligence come from the paternal side.
Then again, you might be the exception. ;-)
