Greetings From The Couch

Those have known me for a while know that I have a shitty back. Well its been pretty good this year, so far, but then I did the leaves earlier this week and thought I survived, but no go, I made 5 days and then there was the box incident. I carried a light box out to the car for B1 and as I was putting it in, something snapped and the rest of the day I was on my back with drugs and ice and not feeling better. Sunday I checked myself into the hospital and they finally got me in for a MRI, but didn’t get the results till Monday morning. Bulging disk between L4 and L5 putting pressure on a nerve that is making my back spasm and giving me the pain I was feeling sitting up or standing. BTW I crawled into the hospital, I couldn’t stand or sit.

I got a steroid injection in my back on Monday afternoon and I’m somewhat able to walk and sit, but not for long periods, at least it was short week for work. Not to mention that I can work from home by connected to my desk through the internet and so most peole I talk to think I’m there anyway. I have done that for two days now and hopefully by Monday I can get back to work, it was tough working from home with the screaming kids running around today.
