The Black Echo

The Black Echo

Ok, this guy at work and I decided that this year we would start an Author that we haven't read before. We decided on Michael Connelly. I have to stay that after the first book, I'm not upset at all that we picked him.

Harry Bosch is a homicide detective in Hollywood division in LA and is called out to the scene of what appears to be a drug overdose of guy that died in a sewer drain. It turns out that Harry knew him from when they were in Vietnam together and can't see that he just killed himself with an overdose and the story starts there.

It never really slows down till the end. Its a great roller coaster ride and I can see I'm going to be on many more of them. Now that I have finished John Sandford's books, this gives me a knew cop to follow.
